We support small-scale projects like gardening and agriculture, beekeeping, poultry and pig farming, etc., especially with brother Moses from Mukono, near Kampala. Brother Moses is a very capable farmer who, with his experience and commitment, can help other brothers to provide a better living through improved methods of cattle breeding, gardening and agriculture.
This year he joined us in Mputu to plant seeds of the moringa tree. The local brothers had already started fields and plantations of bananas and eucalyptuses on the vast BCC plot. There is still enough room for a moringa tree plantation. Because of its amazing nutrient quality and its incredible benefits to our life and health, this tree is often referred to as the ‘moringa miracle tree’. This fruit contains more vitamin C than an orange, more vitamin A than a carrot, more calcium than milk and more potassium than a banana.
